Photography is something I have always been interested in but a) never practised considerably and b) never had the equipment to practice with. Most of what I do have is point and shoot.
My old man recently bought a Nikon, which has some of the more advanced features but I am yet to give it a full workout. I will do soon!

Lotus 97T
A photo taken at Sywell Air-show of the Renault powered Lotus 97T as driven by Ayrton Senna in his younger F1 years. Now owned by Patrick Morgan who had a range of racing cars on show for people to interact with. Unfortunately I didn’t get to sit in the same seat as Senna, but did snap a photo. This has been heavily processed to remove a lot of the junk, leaving just the important bit!

Sywell Air-show Breitling Wingwalkers
Sywell air-show never fails to impress. Unfortunately I do not possess the lens necessary for an extraordinary photograph from the distance I was standing but took plenty of photos of a Spitfire, P51 Mustang, Lancaster, Blades (display team), Vampire and a few cars on display, including a young Ayrton Senna’s Lotus 97T.

Photo Retouch
Just when you think you’ve taken a close to perfect photo, you get it home and think, what are they doing there?! Luckily with a bit of magic we can make those all important changes. Here are some retouches to a fantastic photo by OcUK forum user David Kendal.

Sunset July
A photo I took quite some time ago in the evening. There is a great hill near to where I live with a view across a small valley to the sunset. This is right in the countryside so it’s a bit of a shame to think that pollution caused that, but it also looks awesome.. swings and roundabouts.. This has very little post-processing applied too, all I did was remove some noise from the upper atmosphere due to the camera used.
N.B. I don’t condone pollution!
