A selection of work I have completed with the power of Adobe products such as Photoshop and Illustrator. Soon to be augmented with work using Blender and After Effects as I delve into the realm of 3D!
A new project for myself using Adobe AfterEffects to create a nice website profile and expand our on-line presence to YouTube.
Video composited and edited in AfterEffects with artwork created in Photoshop. This is currently a test composition as I am yet to finalise and publish, but the major work is complete.
Entered as one of a series of 3D rendered submissions to a recent competition for a leading computer component retailer in the UK. This piece came second and the prizes were expanded as thanks for the effort put in.
Supplied with a bitmap image of the logo, I vectorised that using Illustrator before importing into Blender. All other assets were modelled and rendered by myself from scratch. Post processing done in Photoshop to increase texture resolution of the monitor and adjust light levels.
The final logo design for a bathroom outfitter in the Oxford area. A clean, modern approach, highly flexible for use with signage to websites and invoices.
A vector based drawing of a Nissan Skyline. I used a photo as a base to draw over and about 400 shapes later I had this! It was my first proper vector drawing taking a considerable effort, which gives you some appreciation of the vector illustrations that are used in cross section books et al.
What do you do when a game doesn’t include a completely awesome F40 livery. Find one on Google Images and draw it yourself of course! Here’s my Advan F40, totally bespoke in-game skin. Oh, and of course, thanks to Turn 10 Studios for their fantastic game and editor!
Inspired by Greg Martin, I decided to try my hand at space composition. If you aren’t aware of Greg and what he does, definitely check out his space portfolio, after mine of course!
Sometimes you just need to design your own car, so I did. Loosely based on the Ferrari F430 chassis with tinges of Lamborghini. I illustrated this in Photoshop over the top of my initial sketch.
