: AJAX Loader Graphic

With the rise in demand for visually appealing functionality from websites but the varying degrees of bandwidth to support this comes the need for the AJAX Loader Graphic!

It doesn’t just have to be for AJAX but it probably will commonly be seen in association as Jquery and Javascript libraries continue to fancy their way into our browsing experience. Either that or there will be so many server requests for the Facebook/Twitter robots to satiate that it will be necessary to show something is happening when you click that like button..

Real hamsters are powering this graphic! But the page has loaded, so don’t worry. The hamsters just work so damn hard there is energy left over to keep it rotating!

The one for this site has actually been removed as I took the Twitter feed off of the refreshed design. I had used the loader graphic to visualise the feed being populated while my request was waiting to be served by those Twitter robots. But I didn’t make this graphic myself, why would you when services such as the AJAX Loading Gif Generator exist?

Loads of loading graphics are available, with configuration for foreground/background colours, or transparency if necessary. Very easy to use, and recommended!
